JCET Inaugurates XMERON and Associated CSE Student Organizations

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, along with its Cyber Security and Data Science departments at Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology (JCET), hosted the grand inauguration ceremony for XMERON (the CSE Students Association), its specialized departmental associations, the CSI JCET Student Chapter, and the Coders Club JCET at the PK Das Auditorium. Chief Guest Vyasan PM, Project Manager at Techzera Infologics, author, and television presenter, inaugurated the event and released the departments newsletter. Guests of Honour Rahul P Raveendran, Founder and CEO of Synnefo Solutions, and Jyothish NP, Founder and CEO of Novavi Pvt. Ltd., unveiled the official names and logos of the newly formed associations. The ceremony was presided over by JCET Principal Dr. N. Gunasekaran. A major highlight of the day was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen industry - institute collaboration, followed by an award ceremony honoring academic toppers. Dr. R. Satheesh Kumar, Head of the Computer Science Department, delivered the keynote address. In an empowering session titled From Skills to Assets: Building Your Future with CSI - JCET, Amith P Ranjith, Vice President of CSI JCET and Managing Partner at Planets Development, shared practical strategies with students on transforming academic learnings into career success. Student leaders Sreekumar NK, Shanid Ali, Devika PV, and Krishna Priya M presented the newly elected office bearers and unveiled the event roadmap for the 2026 - 2027 academic year. The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Xmeron President Saniya S and wrapped up with a vote of thanks delivered by CSE CD President Anand TK, concluding with the National Anthem.
