Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology incepted in the year 2008 by Late Shri P.K.Das, Founder Chairman of Nehru College of Education and Charitable Trust. JCET has UG, PG and MBA programmes approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Kerala.

This institution provides the required academic ambience for the development of students into tomorrow’s citizens with inter-disciplinary skills. JCET strives to provide the platform for creativity, innovation and start-up through the NGI Technology Business Incubator.

This institution provides the inputs through the class room activities, mini-projects, projects, industrial visits, industrial training and internships with industry interaction. The learning environment is unique and develops the students physically, intellectually and emotionally.

Students have a lot of opportunities to face the challenges of leadership through the series of activities Cultural Festival, Technical Festival, Industry Focussed Seminars and Extra- Curricular Activities not only on physical platforms but also with digital platforms.
