A comprehensive overview of the visit undertaken by MBA students from JAWAHARLAL BUSINESS SCHOOL to PLOY GARDENS a rehabilitation center for mentally challenged individuals. The purpose of the visit was to gain firsthand experience of the challenges faced by individuals with mental disabilities, to understand the role of rehabilitation centers in their lives, and to contribute to their well-being through volunteer work.

Objective:
As part of our social responsibility initiative, our team of MBA students visited a rehabilitation center for mentally challenged individuals to understand their challenges and needs and to provide emotional support and interaction finally contribute a financial support to their rehabilitation process

Observations:
The center has accommodates 50+ individuals with varying degrees of mental challenges, including autism, Down syndrome, and schizophrenia. They provides a clean, safe, and Dedicated staff and caregivers provide 24/7 support for residents.

Key Insights:
Challenges Faced by Residents: Students gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with mental disabilities, including communication difficulties, social isolation, and limited opportunities.
Role of Rehabilitation Centers: The visit highlighted the crucial role of rehabilitation centers in providing essential support, care, and rehabilitation services.
Impact of Volunteer Work: Students experienced the positive impact of volunteer work on the residents' lives, fostering a sense of belonging and improving their overall well-being.
