Three-Day Faculty Development Program on BIM & Revit Fundamentals Conducted by Civil Engineering Department

The Department of Civil Engineering, Jawaharlal College of Engineering and Technology (JCET), successfully conducted a three-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on BIM & Revit Fundamentals from 8 - 10 June 2026. The program was organized to equip faculty members with foundational knowledge and practical skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Autodesk Revit.
The sessions were led by resource persons from BIMLABS Global, who provided hands-on training and insights into BIM-based project planning, 3D visualization, collaboration, and efficient project management practices. The FDP enabled participants to gain practical exposure to modern digital tools widely used in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
The program was inaugurated by the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering and witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members across various departments. The FDP served as a valuable platform for enhancing technical competencies and promoting the adoption of advanced construction technologies in engineering education
